Wilfred Warfstash
So some background: my family was running and playing an AD&D campaign (there are 7 of us so there is more than enough to play.) My mom was the DM and the rest of us were players. Our characters didn’t know each other, save for our ranger to our druid and me (a magic user gnome)to our dwarf. But one way or another we came together as a party to complete the king’s tasks. We had gotten to the part of the role-playing where we were asking questions when this happened…
“These tasks were put together by the king” stated the captain of the gaurd.
“Ah yes and what was his name again it seams to have skipped my mind.” asked the druid.
“Uh…yes our king…kiiiinnng….uh…Wilfred…” stammered our DM as she tried to think of a name.
“Wilfred Warfstash!” I joked OOC.
“Sure,” said our DM “King Wilfred Warfstash”
And after that chaos ensued! Me and the second Eldest brother(playing our cleric)just doubled over in laughter while the other two brothers just shook their heads and groaned. The youngest (playing the druid) argued that that ruined the game while I argued that it made it! Meanwhile my mom and dad are just staring boogle eyed and confused as to what’s going on and neither of them having any clue as to what my mom had just done. In the end my mom comprised and said that the king was just called Wilfred The First but in my mind he will always be King Wilfred Warfstash the Frist.
